Tips for distributed teams
- Keep the grid date close to the meeting: DST changes in March, April, October and November move overlaps by an hour.
- For US + Europe, late morning on the US East Coast (early evening in Europe) is the classic slot.
- For Europe + Asia, European mornings overlap with Asian afternoons.
- For US West Coast + Asia-Pacific, late afternoon in California is early morning the next day in Sydney or Tokyo, so watch the weekday.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find a meeting time across time zones?
Add everyone’s city and set their working hours. The grid shows each hour of the day in every city and highlights the hours when all participants are inside working hours. If there is no full overlap, the planner shows the hours that suit the most people.
What if there is no overlap?
For teams spread across the Americas, Europe and Asia there often is none. Rotate the inconvenient slot week to week, split into two meetings, or move to asynchronous updates. The planner marks “stretch” hours (07:00–09:00 and 18:00–21:00) as a fallback.
Does it account for daylight saving time?
Yes. The grid is calculated for the date you choose, using each zone’s rules on that day, so overlaps shift correctly around DST changes.
